Information collected through this website
This is a static website. It does not require an account, does not process payments, and does not build advertising profiles. Information reaches us only when you choose to submit it, or when you consent to optional cookies.
Contact form data
The contact form invites your name, an optional company name, your email address, an optional telephone number, a subject selection and your message. A consent confirmation and a security acknowledgement are also recorded as part of the submission.
IT services enquiry data
The IT services enquiry form is designed to capture the context needed to respond usefully to a business IT requirement. All of the following are supplied voluntarily by you:
- Your name and email address, which are required in order to reply
- Company or business name, submitted voluntarily
- Business type, submitted voluntarily
- Number of users, submitted voluntarily where provided
- Service interest, submitted voluntarily
- Current systems and platforms, submitted voluntarily
- Cloud tools in use, submitted voluntarily where provided
- Network or connectivity issue detail, submitted voluntarily where provided
- Main IT challenge, submitted voluntarily
- Urgency or preferred timeframe, submitted voluntarily
- Budget guidance, submitted voluntarily where provided
- Additional notes, submitted voluntarily
- Telephone number, submitted voluntarily and only where you provide one
- Your consent confirmation and your security / access acknowledgement, where voluntarily supplied
More broadly, this means IT, cloud, network, systems, access, supplier, device, user and business information is held only where it has been voluntarily supplied by you in the course of an enquiry or an engagement.
Why this information is used
- To read, understand and respond to your enquiry
- To ask follow-up questions where the requirement is unclear
- To assess whether the enquiry falls within the services offered
- To prepare a written scope, proposal or set of recommendations
- To keep a record of what was discussed and agreed
- To comply with legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations
Information submitted through this website is not sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes, and is not used to send unsolicited marketing.
Lawful basis for processing
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the lawful bases relied upon are:
- Consent — for handling the details you submit through a website form, confirmed by the consent checkbox at the point of submission, and for any optional analytics cookies.
- Legitimate interests — for responding to business enquiries and maintaining ordinary business records, where doing so does not override your rights and expectations.
- Contract — where an engagement is agreed, for information needed to carry out and administer that engagement.
- Legal obligation — where retention is required for accounting, tax or other statutory purposes.
Email and telephone communication
Correspondence about an enquiry normally takes place by email, and email threads are retained as the working record of what was discussed. Telephone contact only takes place where you have voluntarily provided a telephone number and indicated that you are content to be contacted that way. Calls are not recorded.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies and equivalent local storage are used to remember your cookie preference and to support basic site function. Optional analytics cookies are only loaded if you actively accept them through the cookie banner. No analytics or tag-management script is loaded before that choice is made.
Full detail, including how to change your choice at any time, is set out in the Cookie Policy.
Third-party processors
Where a third party is used to deliver, receive or store information, it acts as a processor on our behalf and is expected to handle information in line with applicable data protection requirements. Depending on the arrangement in place, that may include:
- Website and email hosting providers
- A form-handling or transactional email service, where one is configured
- Business cloud platforms used for correspondence and document storage
- A customer relationship, service desk or task management platform used to track an enquiry, where one is in use
- An analytics provider, only where optional analytics cookies are accepted
- Accounting and record-keeping software
Third-party providers operate under their own terms, security arrangements and privacy notices. Where information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, appropriate safeguards are expected to be in place through the relevant provider. Details of the specific providers in use for a particular engagement can be requested by email.
Information we specifically do not want
Please do not submit the following through any form on this website, or by unsecured email:
- Passwords, passphrases or administrative logins
- Production credentials, API keys, tokens or private keys
- Multi-factor authentication recovery codes
- Payment card or bank details
- Detailed internal network addressing or system diagrams
- Special category personal data, or personal data belonging to your customers or staff
Where access is genuinely required for agreed work, a secure handover route is arranged separately for that engagement. If sensitive access information is received unexpectedly, it will be deleted and a secure alternative requested.
Data retention
Information is kept only for as long as there is a clear reason to keep it.
- Enquiries that do not proceed — normally retained for up to 24 months, so that a returning enquiry has context, then deleted.
- Enquiries that lead to an engagement — retained for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for the period required for legal, accounting and record-keeping purposes.
- Correspondence — retained as part of the business record for the same periods described above.
- Cookie preference — stored in your own browser until you clear it or change your choice.
You can ask for earlier deletion at any time, subject to any legal retention requirement that applies.
Security of information
Reasonable and proportionate measures are taken to protect information held about enquiries and engagements, including restricted access, protected sign-in on the accounts used to handle correspondence, and keeping sensitive access information out of ordinary channels.
No transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage can be described as completely secure, and no guarantee of security, incident prevention or data protection outcome is offered. Third-party platforms used to receive or store information operate under their own security terms.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to the personal information held about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to request data portability where applicable, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. Requests are responded to within the statutory period.
If you are not satisfied with how a request has been handled, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk.
